Better late than never! GPP crusades can be found here.

I did the "Love, baby love" page last night after the boys went to bed.  I'd had the song lyrics from "New Sensation" INXS in my head for a while as I thought they'd look good on a page - so here they are and I'm pleased with how it turned out.  The heart shaped butterflies are made from plain vellum, outlined with liquid paper pen and then painted with sparkling H2o watercolours.  I hadn't intended for them to be butterflies, but when I came to fix them onto the page I thought sewing them on would work best.  My new varigated thread was perfect for the job, and they're finished of with a bit of kindy glitz.

The "colour outside the lines" page was done a few weeks ago when I went away with some girlfriends for our bi-annual crafty weekend.  Riley was showing off on top of the toy train at Scarborough park when this photo was taken and it just captured his playful spirit perfectly.  The starburst stamp was made from one of those "heat and mould" stamp pads I'd pressed into the drain in the bathroom.

  1. Debra, bravo! You did it! As soon as I saw the first page I had the song in my head! Love reading your descriptions of how each page evolved, from the butterfly details, to the drain stamp :) Thanks for sharing with the team!
